How to Ace the Interview
Will you be looking for a job soon? Whether you’re interviewing for a part-time job or internship now, or a full-time job in the future, it’s important to be prepared. This workshop will teach you how to do it! You’ll learn how to get ready for an interview, and how to tackle the questions most frequently asked by prospective employers. We’ll talk about how to sell yourself and your background, how to conquer interview nervousness, and how to “close” the interview and ask for the offer. We’ll also discuss resumes and cover letters, and you’ll get a head start on building your resume during the class session. We’ll spend the last part of the class doing mock interviews (volunteers only!) so you can put what you’ve learned into practical use.
