Ready to write those essays, but not sure where to begin? Want to make sure that your essays stand out among hundreds or thousands? This intense workshop will give you a head start on the process. You will brainstorm essay ideas, learn how to grab and retain the attention of your readers, and prepare rough outlines. You will also learn how to approach essay "prompts" --what you are being asked to write about--and how to adapt and reuse essays to save time. Please bring a pen, paper, and any essay topics you would like to work on in class. (1 class)
